Exclusively at La Filottica the eyewear of AKIRA ISHIWATARIDesign Studio, in detail the three brands: pLAtOy, TinToy e Rockets.
Akira Ishiwatari was born and raised in Tokyo and is the creative mind on which the entire brand is based. The fusion of oriental culture and trends with European and American ones has strongly inspired the design of these glasses. The namepLAtOy, pun which means “play plastic toys”,

it evokes the wonder of a child who for the first time picks up a new toy, but in reality the glasses proposed are handmade with the obsessive care typical of the Japanese.

The TinToys, on the other hand, are the version of the pLAtOy in combination with metal. Finally, the Rocketsare all in acetate, but thinner and lighter, essentially the younger and easier version of the pLAtOy.
All the glasses of Akira Ishiwatari design studio are made of Japanese acetate, all worked in Italy by the faoflex company for a very rigorous made in Italy.

In the world of independent eyewear, it is not easy to find a product accessible to everyone, which still has a strong stylistic identity and top quality materials.

PlasticDeLuxhas succeeded in this challenge by creating a “simple” product with a very strong character. The glasses have neither hinges nor small parts, the tumbling is absent (present only on the bridge for a comfortable fit) and the acetate sheet seems almost “raw”.

Thanks to the elimination of these production processes, it has been possible to contain the price and this type of production gives the eyewear a unique, accessible but great design character!

Directly from Belgium, a brand new and colorful brand joins our wide range of eyewear.

According to M. Duchêne, creator and founder of the brand, luxury must be a simple thing that does not scare in the shapes, but it is the color that gives distinction and personality to the face. Even the most classic of glasses, worn in green, orange or yellow, becomes another eyewear!

An explosion of colors on very high quality titanium or acetate frames, all made in France.
There is no collection on the market with these characteristics: vastness of range, great quality and extravagant colors. The only one who does not have all black glasses!
Matttew gives color and personality to the face.

The CHANEL COCO CHAIN eyewear collection is characterised by four new sunglasses frames and three glasses frames; each pair of glasses interprets the timeless rock style of the iconic leather braided metal chain.

The aviator frame is covered in leather. The other models are made from acetate, with a middle insert to emphasise your eyebrows. The colour palette is inspired by classic hues: from blue-violet hues to a navy and petrol finish, tortoiseshell brown or barely there pink.

Even the range of prescription frames has three models, with square or rectangular styles and a reinvented, sober pantos shape.
